Eva Overholser (Lynch)

Mrs. Eva May Lynch, 66, Battle Ground R.R.1, died at 3:45 p.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. Mrs. Lynch and her husband had taken Mrs. Delbert Chapman to the hospital and also visited a patient there, Charles C. Crampton. She suffered a fatal heart attack after leaving the hospital and getting in the car. Born May 15, 1899, she was the Daughter of John and Ida Brookbank Overholser. She was married to Forest Lynch on August 10, 1935. She was a member of the Delphi Methodist church and the Tippecanoe township H. D. club. She had spent her entire life in the Delphi community. Survivors are the husband, one daughter, Mrs. Geneva Harris, of Battle Ground R.R.1; one sister Mrs. Lloyd Friday, Battle Ground R.R.1; and four grandchildren. Final rites will be held today (Thursday) at Jackson Funeral Home in Delphi. Rev. David Able and Rev. O. P. Manker will officiate. Burial will be made in the Pittsburg Cemetery.
