Paul Calvert

Paul R. Calvert, 87, of Decatur, died at 3:40 p.m. Nov. 2, 1990, in Lakeside Manor Nursing Home in Decatur, where he had been a patient two years.
  Born June 6, 1903, in Delphi, he was the son of Byron and Lenora E. Roadruck Calvert.
  He had resided in Decatur four years, moving there from Saint Petersburg, Fla.
  He was married June 6, 1925, to Mary Martin, who died on April 10, 1936.  He then married Paula Schaper on June 25, 1938, and she died Jan. 25, 1983.  On Oct. 26, 1983, he married Margaret Calvert, and she survives.  She resides in Atlanta, Ga.
  He was a retired tool grinder at the former International Harvester Co. in Fort Wayne.
  He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Saint Petersburg, Delphi Masonic Lodge, and the Scottish Rite Valley of Fort Wayne.
  Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Roberta Smith of Decatur and Janet Kirsch of Indianapolis; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one brother.
  Services were Monday in Decatur, with burial in Woodburn.
