Emma Sheets Parse, 90, of DuBois, Pa., died Sat., Nov. 13, 1982, in a DuBois hospital. Born Feb. 23, 1892, in Delphi, she was the daughter of James A. and Lucy Mae Shaffer Smith. She was first married to Dr. Charles Sheets who died in 1954. Later she was married to Jesse Parse who preceded her in death in 1977. She was a member of the Delphi United Methodist Church. Surviving are one son, Charles Sheets of Falls Creek, Pa.; one step- daughter, Alice Maish of Russiaville; five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. One daughter is deceased. Services were Wednesday at Thompson Funeral Home in Delphi with Rev. Donald Ashley officiating. Burial was in Zion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Delphi United Methodist Church.
