Lois Coble Bowman, 84, formerly of Riley Road, Delphi, died at 1:30 p.m. Tues., Dec. 23, 1980, in the Brethren's Home, Flora.
  She was born March 8, 1896, in Carroll County, the daughter of Walter and Bessie Coble.  In January 1918, she was married to Robert S. Bowman, who preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 1980.  She was a member of the Delphi Presbyterian Church.
  Survivors include one son, Donald H. Bowman, Lafayette; one daughter, Frances Sowards, Hot Springs, Ark.; one sister, Jean Edging, Oxnard, Calif.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
  Services were Friday at Thompson Funeral Home in Delphi with the Rev. Ellis Gasser officiating.  Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery at Delphi.
