Services for Mrs. Ruth E. Large, 77, of Delphi were Monday at Jackson Funeral Home in Delphi.  Rev. Toby Rendelman officiated and burial was in Masonic Cemetery.
  She died Friday three hours after she had been admitted to Comfort Nursing Home in Lafayette.
  Born April 11, 1896, in Delphi, she was the daughter of B.M. and Ada Armstrong Hinkle.  Her marriage on April 17, 1924, in Frankfort was to William "Pete" Large.
  She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church at Terre Haute.
  Surviving with the husband are two sisters, Mary of Delphi and Mrs. Lorene Kauffman of Lafayette.
