Ethel F. Hildebran Johns, 93, Oak Ridge Care Center, Franksville, Wis., died Tues., Oct. 6, 1981, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Racine, Wis. Born October 22, 1887, in Cass County, Ind., she was a housekeeper and cook at the Marlbar Farm in Libertyville, Ill., and at the Wilson Farm in Waukegan, Ill., for many years. Surviving are a son, Paul A. Johns of Grass Lake, Mich.; three grand children, 11 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Johns in 1957; a son, Kenneth Roy Johns, three sisters and two brothers. Services were Friday morning at Waukegan, Ill., with Rev. Dr. Donald Niswander officiating. Burial was in Warren Cemetery in Gurnee, Ill. Memorials were suggested for American Cancer Society.
