Mrs. Katherine Timmons Nibarger, 60, a native of the Rockfield community, died instantly in a 2-car crash, near Elwood Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Nibarger had resided at Elwood for a number of years. Born in this county she was the daughter of William and Cora (Lantz) Timmons. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Presbyterian church. Her husband, Walter, died two years ago. Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Ruby Timmons, Delphi; T. D. Timmons, Rockfield; Don Timmons. Delphi; Edith Timmons, Logansport; Ruth Clarkson and Florence Koontz, Delphi. A sister, Mrs. Chloe Shaffer, of Adams township died last week. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the First Presbyterian church in Elwood with burial in thé Pendleton. Indiana, cemetery. Friends may call at the York funeral home in Elwood.
