Word has been received here of the death in Santa Barbara, California, of Albert S. McNeel at the age of 81. He was a native of Tippecanoe township, this county, and was a 1900 graduate of Delphi High School, the family had moved to California in the early 1900’s. He was married in 1913 to Miss Effie Newell, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Newell. She died in 1942. He later married Mrs. Clara Bridges at Santa Barbara who survives with a daughter, Mrs. Don Goodwin of Akron, Ohio, two granddaughters and one grandson. He was a retired employee of the postal service. Funeral rites and burial were in Santa Barbara.
