Kate Gresham (Kerlin) - Class Of 1901

Word was received in Delphi by Mrs. Sallie Grimm of the death of her cousin, Mrs. Kathryn G. Kerlin, 89, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Services were there Jan. 6 and burial was in Fort Lauderdale Memorial Park. Mrs. Kerlin, the former Kathryn Gresham of Delphi, died, January 4th in a Medical Center in Florida following an extended illness. Her parents owned a livery stable in Delphi years ago. Her husband, Roy Kerlin, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kerlin of Delphi. She lived at Elkhart before moving 38 years ago to Florida. She was a member of the Episcopal Church, Order of the Eastern Star and Ladies of the Oriental Shrine. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jane Platt, and a son, John E. Kerlin, both of Fort Lauderdale, eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and several cousins, including Mrs. Grimm and Charles, William and Mahlon Kerlin of Delphi.
