Mildred Gurley (James)

Mrs. Mildred Ruth James, 55, of 241 W. North Street, Delphi, died at her residence at 8:00 a.m., on Wednesday. Born March 20, 1905, in Indiana, she was the daughter of Alfonzo and Lydia Gurley. A life long resident of the community, she was employed at the Globe Valve corporation. She was a member of the Delphi Presbyterian church. Survivors are a son, Charles A. of Delphi, who is a school teacher, at Brook; and a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Beulah) Flynn, of Monticello. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, at the Delphi Presbyterian church with Rev. James Rankin officiating. Burial will be made in the odd Fellows cemetery.
