Harold Patton

Harold L. Patton, 72, of Delphi, died at 9:40 p.m. October 13 at Home Hospital, Lafayette. Born January 30, 1903, in Carroll County, he was the son of Edgar D. and Grace Latshaw Patton. He was married January 23, 1923, to Wilma Loy, who survives. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Delphi United Methodist Church where he had served as trustee and official board member for several years. He was immediate past president of the Deer Creek Levee Association; a member and trustee of Delphi Odd Fellows Lodge, a member of the Delphi Masonic Lodge, and a charter member of the Delphi Lions Club. Surviving with the wife are a daughter, Mrs. Robert Maxwell of Delphi; a brother, Jackson Patton of Kalamazoo, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Beulah Mitchell of Punta Gorda, Fla. ; two grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. A daughter preceded him in death. Services were last Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Jackson Funeral Home in Delphi, with Rev. Donald Ashley officiating. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery,
