Amos E. Hoard, 34, 623 New York St.. Lafayette, formerly of Delphi, was dead on arrival Friday, April 29, 1983, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Born in Carroll County June 22, 1948, he had spent most of his life at Delphi and attended Delphi schools. Surviving are two brothers, James J. Hoard of Lafayette and Lee W. Hoard of Delphi, and one sister, Mrs. Earl (Ruby) Schladenhauffen of Illinois. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Judy Stoner Fund at Union Bank & Trust Co., Delphi. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Rockfield with Rev. Paul Davis officiating. Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
