Frances M. Walker, 62, of Rt. 1, Mulberry died at 6:15 p.m. June 14, 1987 in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, Lafayette. Born Feb. 12, 1925 in Delphi, she was the daughter of Lawrence E. and Grace Elizabeth (Beard) Merrell. She graduated in 1943 from Delphi High School. Her marriage was Oct. 12, 1946 to Charles D. Walker, who died June 16, 1976. Mrs. Walker was a member of Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church and Leisure Hour Book Club. Surviving are two sons, William J. Walker and Richard L. Walker, both of Rt. 1, Mulberry; one sister, Rosemary Den Uyl of Athens, Tenn.; three brothers, John A. Merrell, Larry J. Merrell and Robert A. Merrell, all of Lafayette, and five grandchildren. Services were today at Brown Funeral Home, Rossville, with interment in Green Lawn Cemetery, Frankfort.
