Martin M. Ridder, 85, of Hamilton, Ohio, died there on Aug. 30,1996. He formerly lived in Radnor, and later in Lafayette. Born July 21, 1911, in Wabash, he was the son of M.J. and Anna Lemster Ridder. He was educated at Delphi High School. His marriage was on July 3, 1933, in Valparaiso, to Gladys Jackson. They were divorced in 1982. He worked at The Rug Shop in Lafayette for more than 25 years, then at Carpetland, also in Lafayette. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. Surviving are three children, Patricia Hanley of California, Pamela Geswein of Fowler, and Dr. Greg Ridder of Hamilton, Ohio; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be in Ohio.
