Larry E. Farner, 76, of Delphi, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday-January 25, 2023, at 11:57am, at his residence. He had been in failing health for the past year. He was born April 27, 1946, in Lafayette, to the late Francis Eugene & Mildred McKay Farner. His marriage was to Pamela Lynn Hunt in Delphi, on December 21, 1970, and she preceded him in death on July 15, 2022. Larry graduated from Delphi High School in 1964. He worked for the former Rostone Company in Lafayette for 20 years. Larry enjoyed watching NASCAR and went to several races. He loved to read, mushroom hunt, and snowmobiling in his younger years. He loved his pet cat Peg. Larry dearly loved his family and being with them for any occasion. Surviving: daughter-Mitzi & Mark Hamilton of Canto, GA, grandchildren: Maci Hamilton & Myles Hamilton, sister-Mary Margaret Farner-Oliver of Madrid, Spain, sister-Linda & Jack DeVos of Delphi, several nieces and nephews survive. He was preceded in death by a sister Catherine. There will be no service at this time.
