Betty Lou Miller, 51, of Delphi, died at 1:41 a.m. May 6, 1992, at Home Hospital, where she had been a patient one day.  She passed away from cancer.
  Born Aug. 10, 1940, in Monticello, she was the daughter of John L. and Eva M. Bose Fife.  Her marriage was on July 7, 1962, in Flora, to Pat Downham who died in 1973.
  She was a 1958 graduate of Delphi High School.
  She attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness at Monticello.
  Surviving are three daughters, Jeannie Stevens, Debra Kay Roller, and Penny Burrello, all of Delphi; her mother, Eva M. Fife of Delphi; five stepchildren, Teresa Cooper of Kokomo, Traina Lane of Delphi, James Richard Miller II of Delphi, Tracy Wood of Pittsburg, and B. Douglas Miller of Logansport; one sister, Phyllis J. Jones of Flora; a brother, James E. "Jim" Fife of Lebanon; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
  Private family services were Saturday at Horn Funeral Home with Rev. Elmo Bose officiating.  Burial was in Morning Heights Cemetery, Delphi.
