Trina L. Stonebraker, 43, of Delphi, died as a result of injuries suffered in an aut omobile accident on Saturday Sept. 20, 2008, near Burrows in Carroll County. She was a lifelong resident of Carroll County.

 

She was born April 16, 1965, in Logansport, to Donna (Pursch) Snider and the late Terry D. Snider, who also sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Her marriage was on Oct. 20, 1985, in Delphi, to Gary B. Stonebraker. He, too, sustained fatal injuries in the accident.

Trina was a Delphi Community High School graduate and received her RN degree from St. Joseph College, Rensselaer.

She was employed as a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, for eight years. She had also worked at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi and Camelot Care Center in Logansport.

She was a former member of the Rockfield Presbyterian Church.

Trina enjoyed hanging out at their pool, spending time with her family and granddaughter. She also enjoyed singing and dancing.

Surviving are two sons, Cole S. Stonebraker, a student at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, and Kyle B. Stonebraker, a student at Ball State University in Muncie; her mother of Delphi; a granddaughter, Marlee Stonebraker of Camden; one brother, Terry E. Snider (wife: Shawna) of Camden; paternal grandmother, Maxine Snider of Camden; and 11 nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Junior F. Snider, and maternal grandparents, Edward and Dorothy Pursch.
