Douglas Duff

Douglas L. “Doug” Duff, 72, of Delphi, passed away Monday-February 12, 2024, at 12:45am, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi, where he had resided for the past 6 days. He was born on January 18, 1952, in Lafayette, to his late father William E. “Bill” Duff, and his mother Wanda P. Hughes Duff, who survives. His marriage was to Christina Marie Kelly, in Delphi, on February 26, 1977, and she preceded him in death on December 21, 2017. Doug graduated from Delphi High School in 1970. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Indiana National Guard. Doug farmed with his father in Carroll County for several years. He also worked in the agriculture industry in seed sales and other related ag businesses for several years. In 2002 he joined Weaver Popcorn in New Richmond, and was their seed production manager, until his retirement. He and his wife first lived in the New Richmond area, then they moved to Crawfordsville. After Chris passed away, Doug returned to the Delphi area to be closer to his family. He was a member of the Delphi Methodist Church. Doug loved Purdue athletics. He enjoyed auto racing, and he and his cousins took a trip to AZ, to attend a rodeo. He enjoyed watching Western movies, being outside doing yard work, and mowing his yard, keeping it perfectly manicured. He loved to attend his grandchildren’s sporting events and school functions. He dearly loved his family and spending time with them. That was his life. Surviving: daughter-Lindsey & Ashley Lucas of Camden, son-Jason & Hillary Duff of Plymouth, WI, mother-Wanda P. Duff of Delphi, brother-Terry, his wife Terry Duff of Camden, grandchildren: Avery, Carson, Emrik, Rowen, Ansley, & Liam. Father-in-law-Donald W. Kelly of West Lafayette, sister-in-law-Jennifer Newberry of West Lafayette, brother-in-law-Jeff & Brenda Kelly of West Lafayette, and other extended family survive. Preceded in death by 2 brothers Eddie Duff & Randy Duff. Services: Visitation will be Sunday from 1pm until his funeral service at 3pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Rev.
