Thomas “Jerry” Martin, 73, of Delphi, IN, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025.

Jerry was born March 20, 1952, in Lafayette, IN, to the late Billy and Juanita (Alderman) Martin.

In 1978 he married Martha Small. She preceded him in death on February 26, 2012.

Jerry was a Carpenter for Union #215 and was an avid outdoors man. He loved hunting, fishing and taking his boat out on the Wabash river. He also had a strong love of horses, which he had his whole life. Jerry was also known to be quite a storyteller, and he enjoyed sharing his many adventures in life with others.

Surviving are his children: Mike Martin, Cody Martin and Nicole Hartman; stepdaughters: Stacy Syphers and Heather Miller and was a father figure to many others; and two sisters: Alecia Pickett and Gail Sulfridge.
