Anthony Wayne Bowling

A. Wayne Bowling, 42, of Lafayette, formerly of Delphi, died at 11:25 p.m. May 3, 1995, at his home, following a two and a half month battle with cancer.
  Born June 18, 1952, in Lafayette, he was the son of Goldmon and Bedeva Moss Bowling.
  A 1970 graduate of Delphi Community High School, he was a journeyman machinist for the past 20 years at Alcoa in Lafayette.
  He was a member of the Delphi United Methodist Church, Aluminum, Brick and Glass Union 115 in Lafayette, and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.  He enjoyed making knives, was a gunsmith, and a stock car racing fan.
  Surviving are his parents, of Delphi; and two brothers, Clark Bowling of Rt. 1, Battle Ground, and Barry Bowling of Chicago.
  Services were Saturday at Horn Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Ellcessor officiating.  Burial was in Masonic Cemetery.
  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
