Ruth Ann Draper (Wilson)

Ruth Ann Draper Wilson, 58, of 421 N. Wilson St., died at 6 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2010, at her residence. She had battled cancer for the past 15 months.

Born July 25, 1952, in Lafayette, she was the daughter of the late Don and Catherine Sines Draper Jr. She graduated from Delphi High School in 1970.

She married Larry J. Wilson in Delphi on Dec. 3, 1976, and he survives.

Mrs. Wilson was a QMA at the former Brethren Home in Flora and Chase Manor in Logansport for many years, worked at the former Peters-Revington Furniture factory in Delphi for three years, and was a homemaker.

She was a member of First Assembly of God Church at Pittsburg, where she taught Sunday school. She enjoyed bowling, card games and computer activities.

Surviving with her husband are a daughter, Ronda Strange (husband: Dustan) of Bicknelll; two sons, James A. Wilson of Delphi and Shannon Wilson, at home; a stepdaughter, Susan Collier (husband: Chad) of West Lafayette.

Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Rebra Draper of Salem, Ala., and 7 grandchildren. Preceded in death by her brother, Chet, and stepmother, Virginia.
