Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will be conducted at the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery in rural Monticello, Indiana.

12:00 (noon) to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana. 
Biographical Information: 
John had lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area for the last twenty – six years, coming from the Delphi/Yeoman, Indiana, area. He loved hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors. John truly enjoyed boating and most recently took up golf. He also loved playing darts with the kids in his basement bar. John was a member of a local pool and dart league. He was a lifetime member of the AmVets Post #91, American Legion Post #81 both of Monticello, Indiana. John had worked for INDOT (Indiana Department of Transportation) Monticello, Indiana, for forty - seven years. He was the supervisor for the Flora, Indiana and Monticello, Indiana, Units. John was a Delphi High School graduate of Delphi, Indiana. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, enlisting 1973. Most of all John loved his wife, kids, and grandchildren.

Special Services: Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will be conducted at the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery in rural Monticello, Indiana.

Marriage Information: On February 14, 2002 at the Monticello City Hall he married Leona Martin; she survives.
