Robert Terry - Class Of 1970

 Robert A. Terry, 42, of Rt. 4, Monticello, died at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 13, 1993, in the emergency room at St. Elizabeth Hospital following an industrial accident at Indiana Packers Company in Delphi.
  Born May 31, 1951, in Charleston, S.C., he had lived in White and Carroll counties most of his life.
  His marriage was on March 21, 1975, in Carroll County, to Bonnie L. Bernfield, who survives.
  He graduated from Delphi Community High School in 1970 and from Cornell University in meat management.
  He had worked at IPC for the past eight months.  Prior to that he worked at D & R Fruit Market in Logansport as a meat manager and Payless at Lafayette as a meat manager for 14 years.
  He worked with the White County 4-H as an adult leader, and he also was a Cub Scout leader at Oaklawn Elementary School.
  He was a member of Oak Grove Christian Church in Carroll County.
  Also surviving are his parents, Robert and Lucille Goodman Terry of Rt. 5, Monticello; one son, Brent Allen Terry, and two daughters, Amanda Shay Terry and Chelsea Ann Terry, all at home; two brothers, Larry Terry of Lafayette and William "Bill" Terry of Rt. 5, Monticello; and two sisters, Pamela Kingston of Lafayette and Debra Anderson of Danville.
  Services were Monday in Monticello with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
  Memorials may be made to the Oak Grove Christian Church, the Cub Scouts, or White County 4-H.
