James E Stevens, 68, of Burney Calif., passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2022, at home.

He was born on Jan. 25, 1954, in Lafayette, Ind., to Donald J and Donna C. (Reed) Stevens. He graduated from Delphi Community School in 1972. His marriage to Anne Lojo was on May 29, 1982, in California; she survives.

Jim is survived by his wife, Anne; sons, Rodney J. Stevens (Bridget) of Delphi and Jeramiah J Stevens of California; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; his mother, Donna C. Stevens of Delphi; sisters, Donna J. Shockley (Thomas) of Delphi, Janis E. Johns (Gary) of Idaville; and brothers, Douglas C. Stevens (Karen) of Burnettsville, Donald J. Stevens Jr. of Americus, and Nathaniel C. Stevens of Delphi.

Service will be Sept. 23 at Pine Grove Cemetery in McArthur, Calif.
