Larine Jeanine Scowden, 67, of Delphi, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022, at Franciscan Health East in Lafayette.

She was born Dec. 1, 1954, in Lafayette, to Don Eugene and Dorothy M. (Lybrook) Draper. She was a graduate of Delphi High School. On Aug. 11, 2007, in Pidgeon Forge, Tenn., she married Larry Scowden; he survives.

Jeanine was employed at Steel Parts in Tipton for 20 years in the Accounts Receivable & Ordering Dept. She worked the last three years at the Wabash & Erie Canal Park in Delphi and retired as Event Coordinator on May 31, 2022.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 75.

Surviving with her husband are a sister, Lisa Gail Draper- Shay (Les); niece, Bethany Pearson Ice (Paul) of Idaville; great-nephew, Kenneth Zane Lovvorn of Idaville; and stepdaughters, Laura Stigers (Rob) of Delphi, Sabrina Scowden of Lafayette, and Marlaina Payne (Ryan) of Bringhurst.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 30, from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi.
