Deborah Adams (Spencer) - Class Of 1974

Deborah Adams (Spencer)

Deborah Marlene Adams Spencer went to be with her Lord and Savior, May 12, 2023, following an extended illness.  She was born December 5, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Junior and Margurette (Sexton) Adams.  The family moved to Delphi, Indiana in 1970, where Debbie attended Delphi Community High School and graduated in 1974.

Upon graduation, she began a caeer as a Real Estate Broker.  She truly enjoyed helping clients find their perfect homes.  In 1976 she married, and moved to Huntington, Indiana, where in 1980 she was blessed with her daughter, Dacia Lynn.  In 1985 the family permanently relocated to Rancho Cacamonga, California, to be closer to her sister.

Debbie was extremely organized and great with bookkeeping.  She became an office manager for a local insurance agency in Rancho Caucmonga, where she worked for several years until her employer's retirement.  Her current employment was a position of comptroller for Popeye's Chicken Restaurants, which she held until her passing.

Debbie's family was her number one passion in life, and she was especially devoted to her grandchildren.  She enjoyed listening to music and had an amazing voice.  She loved spending time with her family, traveling, cruising, reading and making her infamous lists of everything.

Debbie is survived by her daughter, Dacia, and her three grandchildren, Caitlyn, Madison, and Noah of Ranch Cucamonga: her sister, Connie Adams Carpenter and brother-in-law, Michael Carpenter of Redondo Beach; her long-time best friend, Rita Daniels Johnson of Delphi, countless other relatives, and dear friends.  Her sweet smile and kind heart will be missed by everyone who had the privilege to know her.
