
Dean A. Hatke, 55, of 5288 N. 50 E. Camden, IN, died unexpectedly Thursday-August 18, 2011 at 3:15pm at his residence. He had been in declining health since November 2010. He was born December 1, 1955 in Lafayette, IN, to Vincent Hatke of Lafayette, and his mother Sharon Smith Ausban, her husband Ed of Lafayette. His marriage was to Trica M. Yates in Delphi on April 24, 1976, and she survives. He and his wife formerly lived in Delphi for many years, then moving to their farm near Camden in 2004. He was a 1974 graduate of Delphi High School, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church-Delphi. He worked for The Anderson’s Inc., grain division, Delphi plant, from 1975-2008, retiring due to his health. He enjoyed working around his farm, yard work, gardening, his draft horses, playing dart games, and pool. He dearly loved his family and 3 granddaughters.

Services: Friends may call Sunday 3-6pm at Abbott Funeral Home-Delphi. Service there Monday 10:30am, Father Peter Vanderkolk officiating. Burial at Paint Creek Cemetery-Camden.
