James Houser

  James "Jim" Houser, 34, Rt. 2, Monticello, died at 9:15 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 4, 1992, in his residence, following a two year illness.
  He was born April 23, 1957, in Lafayette, the son of Dale and Norma Trapp Houser.  He was married Jan. 11, 1991, in Delphi to Ona Hammell Storey, who survives.
  A 1975 graduate of Delphi Community High School, he had been employed 11 years at Peters-Revington, where he had served as the plant's section leader for three years.  He was a drummer and had played in several area bands, including Nightbreeze, Sidewinder, Cross-Tie Walker and Territory.
  Other survivors include his mother of Lafayette; two sons, Jamie or Rockfield, and Jermy, at home; a daughter, Julia of Rockfield; a stepson, J.P. Storey, at home; stepmother, Dorothy Houser, Battle Ground; a brother, Troy, Yeoman; a sister, Lucy Houser of Lafayette; and maternal grandfather, Mart Trapp, Florida.
  Services were Saturday in Horn Funeral Home with the Rev. Milly McCan officiating.  Burial was in Greenland Cemetery, Frankfort.
  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and Carroll County Cancer Association.
