Roger Pettiner

Roger Paul Pettiner 65 of Camden, passed away quietly at his residence at 7:55 pm Friday April 7,2023, surrounded by his family.  He was born April 13,1957 in Lafayette to the late Robert L. and Sibyl Faye VanLeewan Pettiner.  Roger graduated from Delphi Community High School in 1975.  On June 5,1977 at the Delphi Presbyterian Church, he married the love of his life Tina L. Pearson.  Roger was a machinist at Tube Fabrication in Logansport for 42 years.  Roger was a member of the Camden First Baptist Church. 

Roger was devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren.  He spent his summers at Carroll County Parks serving as an umpire for many baseball and softball games. Roger is survived by his wife Tina, son Richard (Holly) Pettiner of Delphi, daughter Tonya Pettiner of Delphi, grandchildren Molly Pettiner of Delphi, Cassie Pettiner of Flora, Jasmine Pettiner of Bringhurst, Chrissy Pettiner of Delphi, Kameron Pettiner of Delphi, Isabell Pettiner of Delphi and great-grandson James.  Also surviving is his sister Pamela (Neil) Craig Wilson of Loudon, TN, and a brother Dale (Paula) Pettiner of Delphi and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Wednesday April 12,2023 at Cree Funeral Home, Camden, with Pastor Ed Selvidge officiating.  Burial will follow in the Camden Cemetery. Friends may call from 4pm to 8pm Tuesday April 11,2023 at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Jackson Township Youth Program.
