Cheryl D. Lear, 47, of Lafayette, died at 1:35 a.m. on Dec. 24, 2004, in Home Hospital, Lafayette.
  Born in Lafayette on Oct. 27, 1957, she was the daughter of August L. and Juanita E. Fetterhoff Sheets.  She was a 1975 graduate of Delphi Community High School.
  Her marriage was to Michael Lear, and he died March 2001. 
  Mrs. Lear was a supervisor at Greenbush Industries, and enjoyed crafting and her cats.
  Surviving are two sons, Chris Lear and Aaron Lear, both of Wingate; a stepson, Vince Lear of Delphi; two sisters, Joyce Bolinger (husband: Ron) of Lafayette, and Marlene Breit (husband: Stephen) of Woodburn.
  She was preceded in death by her father on Nov. 14, 1985, and by her mother on June 20, 2003.
  Services were Dec. 28 at Davidson Funeral Home, with burial at Zion Citizens Cemetery.
