Thomas Stipp

Thomas Hughes Stipp, 49, of Los Angeles, Calif., passed away Feb. 21, 2007.  He fought a long and valiant battle with cancer.
  Born Aug. 8, 1957, in Logansport, he was the son of Buddy Harlan and Esther Hughes Stipp.  His parents preceded him in death.
  Mr. Stipp was a member of First Baptist Church in Camden and later Delphi United Methodist Church.
  Following the death of their mother, he and his sister, Susan Manahan of Long Beach, Calif., were raised by their uncle and aunt, Charles and Jean Hildebrandt, and their cousin, P.J. Everett, all of Delphi.
  Mr. Stipp graduated from Delphi Community High School in 1975 and attended Ball State University.  He later moved to Los Angeles, where he was employed for 29 years in administration at Cedar Sinai Hospital.
  Mr. Stipp is survived by his sister, his cousin, P.J. Everett, aunts, uncles, and other cousins.
  His wishes were that no services or memorial be held.
