Ron K. Allbaugh, 66, of Delphi, Indiana went to receive his Heavenly reward in the room that was prepared for him on February 11, 2026, at 11:15am.
Ron Keith Allbaugh was born to Donald Keith Allbaugh and Martha (Humberd) Allbaugh of Delphi on May 6th, 1959, in Logansport, Indiana. He married the love of his life, Janet Elaine (Nelson) Allbaugh on September 20th, 1980, in Delphi Indiana. Out of this love that endured 45 wonderful years, they began to weave a family tapestry together. Beginning with the birth of their son Nelson Keith Allbaugh on March 20th, 1984, and expanding with the birth of their daughter Holly Marie Allbaugh (Kiger) on November 27th, 1985.
Ron was always a man with a curious independent spirit. He loved the chance to see how something worked or see a different way of doing things. So, he started his first business in Delphi Indiana in the late 80s called ‘Ron’s Video Corral’, where he rented videos and sold appliances and furniture to the people of the community well into the 1990s. After that venture ended, he worked at few other places to continue to support his family, but as time passed, he became unsettled because he felt he wasn’t fulfilling God’s calling for himself. So, in 2004, with the support of his wife and family, he embarked on a totally new dream, which was, to buy a wood fire smoker and cook slow smoked BBQ. Little did he know that this would become much more than about food.
After a slow start and much trial and error, ALLBQS the business was born. Ron saw his patrons as his brothers and sisters in Christ. He placed more value on their souls and not the value of their money. In other words, he wanted your stomach filled with BBQ and your heart filled with love. He succeeded in this mission and developed a legacy of love and connection that reached far beyond what he dreamed. His mission was so inspiring that in 2010 his son Nelson joined him in his dream, where they worked together for 16 years turning ALLBQS customers into family. Intertwining thousands of people into one community. Sharing love, life, and food at an open table.
Ron was a loving family man with God centered in his heart and took the opportunity to share with anyone the truth about Jesus Christ. Ron’s ultimate joy was with his family, especially his grandkids. He loved nothing more than being a Grampy. Going to games, birthday parties, competitions, and recitals were a true joy in his life. Bringing his legacy of love and kindness to the next generation.
Some of his favorite times were spent outdoors in creation. He loved fishing in the boat he always wanted with his wife, family, and his dog. He also loved camping, hiking, and biking with his family.
Ron Keith Allbaugh is survived by his loving wife, Janet Elaine Allbaugh; his son, Nelson Keith Allbaugh (Christine), and grandbabies Delilah, Norah, and Jeremiah; and his daughter, Holly Marie Kiger (Bradley), and grandbabies Hadley and Bentley. Ron is also survived by his siblings; Rex Allbaugh (Robin) of Delphi, Indiana and Mary Simpson (Raymond) of Flora, Indiana.
Ron was a man of honesty and integrity. A true family man. If you were loved by Ron Allbaugh, you were genuinely loved.
