Charlene K. Moore Maxwell, 57, Delphi, died Thursday-Aug 2, 2018 at 7:30am, after a long battle with cancer, at her home. She was born October 16, 1960 in Lafayette, to the late Charles & Ina Mable Vaughan Moore. Her marriage was to James D. "Jim" Maxwell, at their home, on June 11, 1988, and he survives. She was a 1979 graduate of Delphi Community High School. She worked for 30 years at the former Peters Revington Furniture Factory in Delphi, then for 3 1/2 years at Wabash National in Lafayette, Ball Corp. in Monticello for 1 year, and 3 years at Deer Creek Ent. She was a member of the Draft Horse Club, and helped her sisters with their business, Moore Carriage Rides. She and her family enjoyed camping, she loved to take pictures and do photography, enjoyed 5K run/walks with her family, loved to visit her sisters in Texas. Charlene never met a stranger, and was extremely social. She enjoyed visiting with her family and friends, and being together at family functions. She loved her dog Greta. Surviving: husband-James D. "Jim" Maxwell of Delphi; daughter-Alyx & Aldo Guadarrama of Lafayette; Logan J. Maxwell of Delphi; twin sister-Darlene & Tim Kingery of Delphi, sisters-Charlotte & Jim Calvert of Magnolia, TX, Marilyn J. Moore & Audry S. Boles of Crawly, TX; brother-Doyle E. Moore of Delphi. Preceded in death by a brother in law Sid. Services: Friends may call Wednesday from 4pm-7pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Private family memorial service will take place, with Rev.
