Michelle D. Sullivan Walker, 51, Brookston, died unexpectedly Monday, Jan 28, 2013, at 10:50 p.m., at IU Health Arnett ER, Lafayette. She was born Oct. 27, 1961, in Logansport, to Max and Norma Marlene Stites Sullivan, and they survive and reside in Delphi. She was married to William E. "Bill" Walker on Tecumseh Bend, at his river cottage, on July 4, 1984, and he preceded her in death on Mar 24, 1995.

She was a 1979 graduate of Delphi Community High School, and received her B.S. in hotel and restaurant management from Purdue University in 1983. She worked in the restaurant industry for several years. She was a member of the Mexico Baptist Church. She was a 10-year 4-H member; belonged to the Purdue University Alumni Association, and the Purdue Women's basketball network. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, Purdue University sports, cooking, and always enjoyed trying to prepare a new recipe.

Surviving: Parents: Max and Norma Sullivan, Delphi; Brother: Stuart and Christy Sullivan, Peru, Brother: Kevin and Lisa Sullivan, Greenwood; 2 nieces: Kara and Melanie. 3 nephews: Sean; Patrick; Zachary

Preceded in death by an infant niece, Erin; and her grandparents.

Services: The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until her memorial service at 11:30 a.m., at Abbott Funeral Home, Delphi. Private family interment will take place.
