Russell was a very lively person who was always fun to be around. Didn't always make wise choices but was at the core a good hearted person.

   Russell J. Hunt, 24, Delphi, died May 4, 1987, by the Hamilton Street Bridge along the Deer Creek in Delphi, Carroll County Coroner Robert Baker said death resulted from hanging.
   He was born December 2, 1962, in Lafayette, to Lawrence D. "Larry" and Wanda Samuels Hunt.
   Hunt, a 1981 graduate of Delphi Community High School, was given an honorable discharge after serving in the United States Marines for nine weeks.  He lived in Texas for a year and a half before moving back to Delphi last August.  He was employed at the Sunoco Station in Delphi.  He had attended Delphi Wesleyan Church.
   Surviving with the parents are a sister, Jodie Emmitt and a brother, Larry "Skeeter" Hunt, both of Delphi; grandmother, Vivian Hunt, Delphi.
   Services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., at Horn Funeral Home with Pastor William Bredenbaugh officiating.  Burial will be at IOOF Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home, 5-9 p.m., Wednesday.
