Danny Joe Draper, 59, of Rossville, passed peacefully into Heaven on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at his daughter’s home in Logansport, surrounded by his loving family.

Born December 20, 1965, in Lafayette, Indiana, Danny was the son of Charles R. and Peggy J. (Boone) Draper. He was a proud graduate of Delphi High School and worked for many years at Subaru in Lafayette before stepping away due to illness.

Danny’s faith was important to him, and when able, he attended Valley View Baptist Church in Flora. Above all, Danny’s heart belonged to his family, especially his three daughters, his six grandchildren, his cherished cats, and his beloved show car.

He is survived by his daughters: Tashia Smith, Tammara Marvin, and Tanisha Criswell; his father and stepmother, Charles and Kathryn Draper; sisters Lynn Engel and Cris Green; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Draper.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Valley View Baptist Church in Flora. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Ted Lucas. Burial will take place at Maple Lawn Cemetery.

In honor of Danny’s love for animals, memorial contributions may be made to WoodHaven Rescue Farm, 6310 S 900 E, Lafayette, IN 47905.
