Rodney was my older brother. We have his obituary to post if we could. His daughter and i would love to hear memories of him that anyone has to share. We were both very young and I hardly have any to share with her. Thank you.

Gabriel,

I remember you. You were such a beautiful and sweet little girl. And, I remember your brother Rodney well. When we were young, he always had a smile on his face and was always fun to be around.

Rodney was a close friend to my older brother Darrell Percell. Rodney had a magnetic personality, he was the kind of guy everyone wanted to be around. Hilariously funny, outgoing, kind, and I thought he was probably the "coolest" guy in town. I have often wondered about his daughter over the years, if she looks like him, how she's doing. I wish Rodney's family the best in life.

Rodney was a sweetheart. I remember that he had a younger sister that he was super close to and very protective of...I'm guessing that was you.

Gabriel, I always had a good time with Rodney your grandparents took Rodney and myself to Ft. Lauderdale for Springbreak one time and Rodney and myself tried to body surf we weren't very good at it, but it was still a lot of fun. I remember going accross the river to hang out with him and play video games. We always had a great time together, he was geniune and always was smiling and I could always count on him. He was a great friend.

Gabriel,

I am sorry to hear about Rodney.  I just found this site and literally just learned about Rodney.  I have not stayed in touch with anyone really.  I hope you get this.

Sophomore or Junior year, I started working at Wallmann's there in Delphi as a stock boy.  Rodney was already working there.  He showed me the ropes.  We did not hang around the same circle of friends so we never really talked until the job.  He was always cool with me, helping me out.

I drove my parents 1970 GTO and he had this small 2 seater black car that he just got.  I think it only had 4 cylinders whereas I had a gas guzzling 8.  After work we decided to head from work up to the basketball game at the high school.  He tried to get around me but my 8 cylinders were no match for his little care.  We went a little faster than we should have and a couple of county sherriffs were kind enough to remind us to go slower with just a strong warning.

I remember an easy going guy that enjoyed life.
