Robert Lee "Bob" Randolph, 85, Monticello, Indiana, died at 6:48 p.m., on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at his residence with his loving family by his side.
Bob was born on Thursday, November 30, 1939, in Lafayette, Indiana to Paul and Louise (Buchanan) Randolph. They preceded him in death.
In 1961 Bob married Beverly whom they shared two daughters; they later divorced and on in he married Deborah Crowder she survives.
Bob was born and raised in the Delphi, Indiana area. He was a 1959 graduate of the Delphi High School where he was the captain of football team. After graduation Bob joined the US Army serving for six years. He then went to work for Eli Lilly of Lafayette, Indiana as a chemical engineer for 30 plus years, retiring in 1990. After retirement he and his wife "Deb" traveled and became full time RV'ers for 15 years. Bob was always tinkering around and even gained the name "Tinker Bob" at the campground. Bob loved and enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren or the littles as he called them.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Deborah "Deb" Randolph of Monticello, Indiana, daughters, Chris (husband Jimmy) Arion of Delphi, Indiana and Kim (husband Jeff) Olinger of Rochester, Indiana, son Scott (Tonya Soto) Akers of Lafayette, Indiana, grandchildren, Alyssa (husband Daniel) Stevens, Whitney Arion, Ashley (fiancé Travis Foulks) Akers, Harley (husband Riley) Storm, Adam Killian, Tyler (fiancée Jade Childs), Eric (Chasity Brock) Akers, great-grandchildren, Serenity, Emmorie, Kaylee, Paizlee, Kinsleigh, Easton, Marley, Patrick “PJ”, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his son, Eric Akers, Sr., sisters, Joann Rogers and Carolyn Orr, sister-in-law, Patricia Measels, and brother-in-law, Dale Crowder.
Private family viewing, services, and burial will happen at a later date.
Memorial donations may be given to CASA of Carroll & White County, Indiana. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to 102 South Union Street, Delphi, IN 46923
