Mary Ann Pearson, 61, of Delphi, died at 9:35 a.m. on June 17, 2004, at her residence.  She had been fighting cancer since February.
  Born in Radnor on May 7, 1943, she was the daughter of Robert and Opal Reef Allen.  She attended the former New Hope School in Carroll County.
  Her marriage was to James L. "Jim" Pearson Sr. in Delphi, on Jan. 5, 1961, and he survives.
  Mrs. Pearson was a custodian at Hillcrest Elementary School for the past five years, and was also a homemaker.
  She enjoyed crocheting, yard sales and flower gardening.
  Surviving are two sons, James Pearson Jr. of Delphi, Dale D. Pearson of Camden; three daughters, Penny Blackman and Jamie Hutchinson, both of Delphi, and Susan Hillman of Logansport; and 10 grandchildren.
  Services were June 21 at Abbott Funeral Home, with burial at IOOF Memorial Gardens in Pittsburg.
