John A. Connelly, 65, of Valparaiso, died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, at his home.

He was born in Lafayette to Bertha Lillian Kolkana Connelly and the late J. Franklin Connelly. On Jan. 3, 1969, in Lafayette, he married Kathie Frazier. She survives.

Surviving with his wife and mother are two sons, Gabe Connelly (wife: Michelle) of Naperville, Il. and Brock Connelly (wife: Desiree) of Chicago; a sister, Mary Ruth Anneren (husband: Ted) of Sarasota, Fl.; a brother, Donald Connelly (wife: Janet) of Lafayette and 2 granddaughters, Addison and Bianca Connelly.
