Born March 25, 1936, in Carroll County, he was the son of William Orville and Malinda Pearl Blocker Brown. On Dec. 12, 1969, in Denver, he was married to the former Pamela Joan Kinley, and she survives. He was an active member of the Deedsville United Methodist Church, where he had served as Trustee and Board Chairman. He was an avid sports fan, enjoying all North Miami high school sports, Notre Dame girls' basketball, NASCAR, the Chicago Bears and short track auto racing. He loved mushroom hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. For many years, Ralph worked in the dairy industry, working as a milk-hauler and later working for AMPI as a customer service representative. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Joan Brown, rural Denver; seven children: Deanna Gibson, Rayne, Louisiana; Rita Brown, Indianapolis; Bill Brown, Mexico; Phyllis Brown, Sheridan; Gary (Brigette) Brown, Kileen, Texas; Rhonda Coby, Peru; and Sabrina (Aaron) Click, Logansport; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three siblings: Richard (Kay) Brown, Buffalo; Linda Red Elk, Camden; and Donna (Howard) Bieghler, Delphi. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Wayne Lee Brown; and two brothers, Mel and Orville Brown. Funeral services entrusted to McClain Funeral Home, Denver,.
