
Carol Crosby May, 63, Riverside, Calif., died July 21, 1999, at her residence. She was born July 4, 1936, in Lafayette, the daughter of Byram and Irma Crosby of Delphi. A 1954 graduate of Delphi High School, Ms. May received a bachelor of science degree from Purdue University in 1958, and a master of science degree from Gallaudet University in 1962. She was a teacher at the California School of the Deaf in Riverside, and retired in 1996 atter 34 years of service. She was a member of Tri Krfppa and Kappa Alpha Theta. Surviving are one daughter, Michele H. May of Huntington Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Tom Crosby of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, and Ed Crosby of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and two sisters, Mary Mestousis of Schererville, and Helen Churchill of Lodi, Wis.
