Ralph D. Hankins, 47, of Rt. 1, Delphi, died at 10:43 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 1983, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.
  Born Jan. 19, 1936, in Carroll County, he was the son of Ray and Lillian Gardner Hankins.  He was married to Anna Marie Lucas and she survives.
  Hankins was a rural mail carrier at Delphi and served as pastor of McNeely Church, Lewisburg.
  Surviving with the wife are three sons, Gary Hankins and Jim Hankins, both of Logansport and Mike Hankins of Monticello; one daughter, Janet of Murphysboro, Tenn.; three brothers, Don Hankins of Lafayette, Bob Hankins of Milwaukee, Wisc., and David Hankins of Bunker Hill; and five grandchildren.
  Rites are pending at Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport.
