Richard Lee Larimore Sr., passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at his home with his wife, children, grandchildren and sisters at his side. Richard was born on February 10, 1936 in Delphi, IN and was the son of the late Donald and Ruth Skiles Larimore. He was married on December 2, 1956 to his loving wife, Annabelle Ashba in Delphi.

Richard was a 1954 graduate of Delphi High School. He served in the Indiana Army National Guard and attended the Indiana Military Academy achieving the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. He was a member of the Delphi Christian Church, serving as a Deacon and Trustee.

He was the owner along with his son Richard Jr of Larimore & Son Construction for many years.

Richard enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His hobbies included fishing, watching football and Nascar, painting and spending the winters in Florida.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, sister-Beverly Randolph, brother-Donald Gene Larimore, brother-in-law-Tom Hicks.

Richard is survived by his loving wife Annabelle. Son: Richard (Mary) Larimore Jr. of Camden. Daughter: Joyce Little of Delphi. Sisters: Claudia Hicks and Pam (Karl) Ferger. Sister-in-law: Cely Larimore. Four grandchildren: Kira Elwert (Mark), Ross Larimore (Sarah), Joseph Little (Lauren) and Greg Little (Walquiria). Four great-grandchildren: Maya, Little, Gage Larimore, Lorelei Little and Wyatt Larimore.

Calling will be Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Abbott Funeral Home-Delphi. Funeral will be at 1 PM Monday with calling one hour prior at the funeral home. Rev Bob Duke officiating. Burial to follow at Morning Heights Cemetery with Carroll County Honor Guard graveside rites.
