Pasty had lived in the Carroll / White County area all her life, and was a 1954 graduate of Delphi High School of Delphi, Indiana. She was the secretary for the Support Division of the Carroll County Prosecutor Robert Ives for fourteen (14) years, retiring in 1995. Patsy was a fifty (50) year member of the Adams Township Achievers Home Ec Club.

On July 15, 1956, in Delphi, Indiana, she married Gene Edward Jennings. He survives.
