Rosalyn Zook (Scott)

Rosalyn M. "Rose" Scott, 82, of Delphi, passed away at her home on Sept. 2, 2018. Rosalyn was born on Feb. 8, 1936 in Radnor, IN to the late Truman I. and Evelyn (Horner) Zook. She was a 1954 graduated of Delphi High School.

She married Richard L. Scott on July 1, 1967 at the Delphi United Methodist Church and he survives.

Mrs. Scott provided childcare for many children over the years and was known to many as the "sturdy babysitter." She was a retired homemaker.

She was a member of the Radnor United Methodist Church, former 4-H Leader, Cub Scout Leader and former member of the Delphi Little League Board.

Rosalyn enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, cross stitch and playing on several bowling leagues. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Along with her husband, Richard, she is survived by children: Charles Hammond (Theresa) of Delphi, Teresa McKnight (Eddie) of Lake Cicott, Bruce Hankins (Sue) of Delphi, Kevin Hammond (Jill), of Burlington, and Kenneth Scott (Regina) of Delphi; foster son, David Struble of Ava, MO; sister, Mertha Foster Tague (Jerry of Lafayette); 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

She was preceded by brother, Harold Zook.

Viewing will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi. Services will be on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ed Selvidge officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora.
