Eva L. "Peggy" Doerr Pearson, 77, of Flora, died Sat.-Nov 16, 2013 at 9:07pm at her home. She had been in ill health for the past 2 years. She was born Feb. 6, 1936 in Delphi, to the late Peter & Mary McQuerter Doerr. Her marriage was to Ralph D. "Dick" Pearson in Logansport, on Sept. 9, 1955, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 1996. She graduated from Delphi High School in 1955. She formerly worked at Globe Valve Corp. and the Dime Store both in Delphi, then she worked for the Delphi Community School Corp., in the kitchen and later in janitorial services, from 1992 until her retirement in 2003. She enjoyed her flower gardens, and crocheting. She was a life resident of Delphi, and has lived in Flora for the past 5 years. Surviving: daughters-Mary & Ron Hughes of Flora, Anna & Bill Donnelly of Lafayette. Ten grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by 2 sons-Scott & Michael; 2 sisters, 1 brother. Services: Friends may call Saturday from 10am until her funeral at 12pm at Abbott Funeral Home-Delphi. Rev.
