Norma Trapp (Houser) - Class Of 1956

 Norma Jean Houser, 57, of Lafayette, died at 10:30 p.m. March 15, 1996, in Regency Place, Lafayette, where she had been admitted earlier in the evening.  She had been hospitalized one month.
  Born Aug. 20, 1938, in Flora, she was the daughter of Mart and Velma Lucille Swaynie Trapp.
  She was a graduate of 1956 Delphi High School.
  Her marriage was on Oct. 8, 1955, in Carroll County to Dale Houser Jr., who died June 15, 1989.
  A waitress, she had worked at Angler's Restaurant, Monticello; the Americus Restaruant; Pirate's Roost on Lake Freeman, 1965-1978; and Morris Bryant, 1978-1991.
  Surviving are one son, Troy D. Houser of Monticello; a daughter, Velma Lucille "Lucy" Houser of Lafayette; a brother, John Trapp of Wadesville; and six grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by her parents and one son.
  Services were Tuesday at Horn Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Schmidt officiating.  Burial was in the Musselman Cemetery, Camden.
  Memorials may be made to the Carroll County Cancer Association.
