Esther Jane Faurote, 86, of Lafayette, IN, passed away on June 11, 2023 at The Springs of Lafayette.

She was born on March 5, 1937 to the late Hershel Curtis Myers and Lela Mae (Pearson) Linback in Ockley, IN. Esther married Frank G. Faurote on March 29, 1963 and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2007.

Esther was many things to her family. Not only was she a mom, but in her children's younger years, she was a chef, a homemaker, a nurse, a teacher and our best friend. Esther enjoyed traveling, cooking, sewing, yard sales, all Purdue sports, and family holiday gatherings. Most of all, she enjoyed seeing her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

The family wants to express their sincere gratitude to the entire staff of The Springs of Lafayette for taking such good care of Esther.
