William "Bill" Peterson, 72, of Delphi, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at his residence.
Born July 9, 1937, in Carroll County, he was the son of the late Thomas Peterson Sr. and Opal M. Metz Peterson. He was a graduate of Delphi High School and served in the National Guard for six years.
Mr. Peterson had farmed for many years. He worked for Kerlin Feed Mill for 25 years before retiring.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting. He was an avid Purdue sports fan.
Surviving is a brother, Donald Peterson (wife: Wilma) of Delphi.
Also surviving are 1 niece and 8 nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Max and Thomas Jr.; a sister, Carol Sue Jeffries; and a nephew, Mike Peterson.
Graveside services 11 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Musselman Cemetery, Camden, Pastor Ellis Gasser officiating. Interment to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Online condolences: www.davidsonfh.com
